PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting die-manufacturing method that can make a casting die in a short time, and to provide the casting die.SOLUTION: A casting die-manufacturing method is provided for manufacturing a casting die for use in manufacturing a casting. The method includes: a wax model making step of manufacturing a wax model corresponding to the casting; a slurry coating process for coating a first slurry on the wax model; a step of drying the wax model with the first slurry attached thereon; an installation step of installing the dried wax model in the inside of an external box covering a periphery of the wax model; a second slurry injection step of injecting the second slurry into the external box with the wax model installed therein; and a solidification step of solidifying the second slurry injected into the external box.
