<p>The purpose of the present invention is to provide a reasonable electromagnetic contactor capable of minimizing unwanted vibrations in a contact when the electromagnetic contactor is activated. An electromagnetic contactor according to the present invention comprises: a case having an insulating property; a fixed core housed in the case; a movable core provided opposite the fixed core; a coil which is wound around the fixed core and, when energized, generates a suction force which brings the fixed core and the movable core in contact; a through-hole provided in the fixed core in the direction orthogonal to the direction in which the movable core is suctioned; a pin inserted into the through-hole, and having a bent portion at least at one position to come in contact with the through-hole at least at three points, to thereby be pressed by the fixed core; and a buffer member fixed to the case to absorb the force applied to the pin, the buffer member clamping and holding both projections of the pin projecting from both sides of the through-hole. The pin transmits to the buffer member the impact created when the movable core and the fixed core come in contact with each other.</p> |
