PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamination type PTC thermistor having a low resistance value and that can improve a withstanding voltage while maintaining resistor temperature characteristics equivalent to the conventional art.SOLUTION: A lamination type PTC thermistor 8 comprises: a main body configured by alternately laminating semiconductor ceramic layers 2 and internal electrodes 3; and foundation electrodes 5 electrically connected to the internal electrodes, and provided to both end surfaces of the main body. In the semiconductor ceramic sandwiched by the internal electrodes, a thickness of the semiconductor ceramic layers at the central part in a lamination direction, or a thickness of the semiconductor ceramic layers contacting with the internal electrode layers at the central part in the lamination direction, is thicker than that of the other semiconductor ceramic layers. |
