PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective screening means in developing a medical drug effective in treating frequent micturition or urinary incontinence which an increasing number of patients suffer from.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for preparing a pelvic congestion model rat, in which a female rat whose common iliac veins on both sides and uterus vein are litigated is bred for four or more weeks. There is provided a pelvic congestion model rat obtained in the preparation method. There is provided a method for screening a drug for treating frequent micturition by using the model rat.
