PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exercise chair that enables a user to perform pelvis inclination with no risk of being overturned while an upper half of the body is rotated (swung) from side to side.SOLUTION: An exercise chair includes a frame 1, a seat 2, a backrest 3, and a support arm 4, and a rotational shaft 10 is fitted to a seat support part 12a of the frame 1. Since the support arm 4 is fitted to the rotational shaft 10, the backrest 3 can rotate around the rotational shaft 10 on the outer peripheral side of the seat 2. The seat 2 is fitted to the seat support part 12a so as to elastically swing from side to side. Therefore, when an upper half of a body is rotated in a state that a user is seated in the seat 2 and the upper half of the body is on the backrest 3, the backrest 3 rotates around the rotational shaft together with the support arm 4, and the upper half of the body rotates smoothly. When pelvis inclination is performed while the upper half of the body is rotated (swung) from side to side, the seat 2 is inclined in a direction opposite to the direction of the pelvis inclination, which enables sufficient pelvis inclination to be performed without the user being overturned. |
