<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a rotation direction of a rotary drum in such a manner that it becomes easy for clothes inside the rotary drum to come into contact with an electrode sensor irrespective of the volume of the clothes inside the rotary drum, by discriminating the volume of the clothes inside the rotary drum during a drying operation.SOLUTION: A clothes dryer is provided in which a circulation air outlet 11 is provided at a left part (or a right part) of a rear surface side of a rotary drum 2 at the back of a body 1, and a rotation direction of the drum is controlled in such a manner that it becomes easy for clothes inside the rotary drum 2 to come into contact with a first electrode 8, which is provided at a lower part of a transparent drum opening/closing plate 5, and the rotary drum 2, that is, an electrode sensor comprising a second electrode, according to the volume of the clothes inside the rotary drum 2.</p> |
