<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus and a control method thereof for improving usability when the electronic apparatus is started, and a program.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 2 is an electronic apparatus that can operate in a plurality of power states including a first state in which a user can immediately use the electronic apparatus and a second state which requires a predetermined time to shift to a first mode and requires less power consumption compared with a case of operating in the first state. In the case that a condition is established in which an external device is connected to the electronic apparatus through a predetermined interface or in which control contents are set for making a power state after starting the electronic apparatus the first state, the power state after starting the electronic apparatus is determined to be the first state, and a shift is made to the determined power state after starting the electronic apparatus.</p> |
