<p>The present invention efficiently confirms whether switches for controlling power storage units, which are installed in a vehicle and connected in parallel, are normal. A first power storage unit stores power generated by an in-vehicle dynamo-electric generator, and supplies the power to an engine starting motor and an in-vehicle electrical device (400). A second power storage unit is connected in parallel to the first power storage unit, stores power generated by the dynamo-electric generator, and supplies the power to the in-vehicle electrical device (400). The first power storage unit and the second power storage unit are connected in parallel. A first switch (S1) is inserted in a path between the first power storage unit and the second power storage unit. A diode (D1) is connected in parallel to the switch (S1) in such a manner that the cathode side is on the second power storage unit side. A second switch (S2) is disposed between the abovementioned path and the second power storage unit. When starting, a control unit switches the first switch (S1) and the second switch (S2) off, and then switches the second switch (S2) and the first switch (S1) on, in that order.</p> |
