<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a transfer between a wheelchair and a transfer board, and a transfer between the transfer board and a vehicle seat by diagonally raising/lowering the transfer board.SOLUTION: An occupant transfer apparatus 14 comprises: a plurality of four-link mechanisms 23 disposed between a seat 12 and a door 13; a transfer board 34 supported to be foldable; and a gas damper 46 upward energizing the transfer board 34. Each four-link mechanism 23 includes: a first longitudinal link 24 fixed to a vehicle body; first and second lateral links 26 and 28, vehicle-width-directional inner ends of which are pivotally supported by upper and lower ends of the first longitudinal link 24, respectively; and a second longitudinal link 31, upper and lower ends of which are pivotally supported by vehicle-width-directional outer ends of the first and second lateral links. The transfer board 34 is foldably supported by the second longitudinal link 31, so that, when the second longitudinal link 31 lowers, the transfer board 34 gets away diagonally from a lateral side of the vehicle body, thereby making transfer from/to the wheelchair easy. When the second longitudinal link 31 rises, the transfer board 34 approaches diagonally to the lateral side of the vehicle body, thereby making transfer from/to the seat 12 easy.</p> |
