The method (1) involves receiving (S1) a geometric model of a body portion, where the geometric model is adjustable by a parameter and comprises a landmark. The spatial coordinates are received (S2) and the spatial coordinates are assigned to the landmark. The landmark of the spatial coordinate is formed (S3) and the parameter of the geometric model of the body portion is determined. The assigning of the spatial coordinates to the landmark is received in the determination of the parameter of the geometric model of the body portion. An independent claim is included for a device for patient-specific modeling of a body portion of a patient.
