PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save a user time and effort in selecting a visiting facility while enabling actual guiding to a popular facility, allowing the user to stop by at a facility to the user's preference.SOLUTION: An area map provision system performs: determining, by means of an analysis process (S3), a degree of concentration of individual points from operation information collected in an accumulation process (S1); determining, by means of a first hot-spot determination process (S15), plural spots where the determined degree of concentration is equal to or more than a threshold and a value of difference between the degree and a representative value is equal to or more than a given value as hot-spots; generating, by means of an area map generation process (S21), an area map of plural map zones that include plural recommended facilities retrieved by a recommended facility search process (S19), of plural map zones having the determined hot-spots as central coordinates; and displaying the generated area map on a navigation device (1). |
