PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device and an inspection method for a solar cell module capable of efficiently detecting a solar cell module having a foreign substance to be removed attached thereto.SOLUTION: An inspection device for a solar cell module includes: an image acquisition unit 23 that photographs the surface of a solar cell module 11; and a control unit 21 that detects a thickness of a foreign substance from the photographed image obtained by the image acquisition unit 23 photographing the surface of the solar cell module 11, compares the detected thickness with a reference value, and determines that the solar cell module 11 has abnormality when the detected thickness exceeds the reference value. |
