METADATA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, METADATA MANAGEMENT METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM

A metadata management system that manages content files and metadata, wherein a first computer has: an input unit that receives a content file and a metadata file corresponding to that content file; an association processing unit that extracts metadata from the metadata file and associates that metadata with the aforementioned corresponding content file; a file transfer processing unit that transmits the metadata and the content file associated with that metadata asynchronously to a management server, and requests that it be registered; and an error processing unit that generates an error file related to the metadata for which registration has been requested, when notification of an error is received from the management server. The management server has an analysis unit that detects errors in the metadata for which registration has been requested, and notifies the first computer when an error is detected.
