PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel oxygen-absorbable multilayer body having excellent oxygen absorbing performance in which generation of odor after absorbing oxygen is suppressed without responding to a metal detector and an oxygen-absorbable multilayer container using the multilayer body, and to provide an oxygen-absorbable multilayer body having excellent oxygen absorbing performance under a wide range of humidity conditions from low humidity to high humidity and an oxygen-absorbable multilayer container using the multilayer body.SOLUTION: There is provided an oxygen-absorbable multilayer body which comprises an oxygen-absorbing layer (layer A) composed of an oxygen-absorbable resin composition containing a polyester compound and a transition metal catalyst, and a resin layer (layer B) containing a thermoplastic resin, wherein the polyester compound contains a constitutional unit having at least one tetralin ring.
