PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus and endoscope image controlling device capable of displaying still images at the time of voice input even when time delay occurs before implementation from voice input through voice recognition. SOLUTION: The image signal captured by image sensors and processed into signal by TV camera device 6 is displayed as an endoscope dynamic image on the monitor 12 through the image controller 42. When voice is input through microphone 18, the image controller 42 acquires the image signal corresponding to a still image in the inner image memory at the time of voice input. When the voice is recognized as a voice command for the still image display by the voice recognition processor 44 where voice is input, the acquired image signal is displayed as a still image on the monitor 12.
