PRESSURE CASTING SLIP AND REFRACTORY CERAMIC PRODUCED THEREFROM FOR GAS TURBINE UNITS

The casting slip comprises particulate mixture of two materials with different coefficients of thermal expansion and organic and/or inorganic binders and floating agents. The mixture has multimodal particle size distribution that is divided into 10-20 weight percent of coarse particles in size range 1-5 mm in diameter, 10-20 weight percent of medium particles in size range 0.5-1 mm in diameter and 60-80 weight percent of fine particles in size range 0.5 mm in diameter and proportions in particle size distribution are selected so that they make up 100 weight percent of mixture.
