<p>Process instrument for process-oriented use (e.g. field device) in an automated technical process, the process instrument comprising: sensors for recording measurement data in a dedicated local environment of the process instrument and/or actuators for actively influencing the technical process, wherein the process instrument is connected by data link to a central control means of the technical process, further a user interface for studying current measurement data on site and/or for inputting control settings for the actuators and/or for configuring the process instrument, in addition to interfaces with the central control means and with additional process instruments in the technical process, wherein the process instrument receives information from the central control means (for example, a process control system, SCADA system, stored program control) which can be accessed on the user interface of the process instrument. This makes it possible to also use local user interfaces incorporated in the process for purposes other than for the immediate concerns of a process-oriented device itself, namely in particular for diverse display and adjustment tasks required near the device.</p> |
