The present invention relates to a technology for making microwaves or millimetric waves to penetrate deep into an affected area by installing a dielectric lens in an applicator for hyperthermic treatment. The applicator for hyperthermic treatment comprises an applicator including a conductor and a transmission line; a plurality of coaxial apertures radiating microwaves transferred through the transmission line toward an affected area for the hyperthermic treatment; and the dielectric lens formed in the upper part of the coaxial aperture and increases the focal distance of the microwaves being radiated from the coaxial aperture toward the affected area. By the present invention, the focal distance of the dielectric lens can be located in the deep part of carcinomatous tissue, thereby having the effect of widening the range of treatment.
