PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front vehicle body structure of a vehicle capable of suppressing the retreating of a dash panel to an inner direction of a cabin while attaining the reduction of an impact load relative to an occupant caused by the deformation of a front side frame at front surface collision. SOLUTION: A second outer bead 13f of a semi-circular cross section extending in a vertical direction is formed on an outer panel 13 near a front side of a bonding part L that the front side frame 3 is joined to the dash panel 2 and at a position corresponding to a rear end of a lower bonding flange 11b in a recessed shape recessed to an inner side in a vehicle width direction, and formed from an upper end of an outer panel body part 13c to a lower end. At a position corresponding to the second outer bead 13f, a cross section area of the front side frame is smaller than portions at front and rear sides and rigidity is lower than that of an inner panel side. Therefore, at front surface collision, the outer bead is bent and deformed to a vehicle body outer direction with the second outer bead 13 as an origin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
