The present invention relates to a side-view observing device for an excavator including a boom (7) on the center of a vehicle body (3), a driver seat (9) eccentric on one side of the boom (7), and a driving mirror installation stand (13) for installing a driving mirror (11) on the vehicle body, which is the other side of the boom (7) and opposite to the driver seat (9) which includes a side-view observing camera (21) formed on the driving mirror installation stand (13) to secure a visual field of the other side of the boom (7) opposite to the driver seat; and a monitor (not shown) which is connected to the camera (21) via a cable (23) and which provides a screen inside the driver seats (9). Therefore, the present invention promotes the improvement of security by basically preventing accidents via securing the lateral view field, thereby reducing manpower such as workers arranged on the side of the vehicle and generally improving working efficiency. |
