The present invention relates to an independent one time password (OTP) and, more particularly, to an algorithm for generating an OTP only with a combination of a preset password and numbers without a separate terminal, which can prevent the entire password to be exposed at one time by randomly displaying a part of a set password and not displaying the remainder thereof on a screen every time, can reduce the probability of exposing passwords of a mobile phone and a terminal by creating a new combination of a password every time, and can easily authenticate a randomly created password only with memory of a setter without a separate authentication procedure or a separate device.
