<p>The invention relates to a reluctance motor comprising a rotor (1) and a stator. The rotor (1) is provided with individual rotor poles (4) which have a curved outer contour. A step-type transition (10) is embodied in the outer contour so as to obtain a preferred rotational direction when the motor starts. In order to improve a reluctance motor of said type especially regarding the starting behavior thereof, the curved outer contour (7) extends helically.</p> |
