PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum filter type purifying device capable of effectively removing chips clogged in flowing holes of the drum filter. SOLUTION: The drum filter type purifying device 1 for separating and removing the chips 53 mixed with coolant liquid includes a filter tank 13 for accumulating the mixed coolant liquid 51, a rotatable drum filter 10 having a number of flowing holes 102 formed in a tubular body 101, a rotary driving source 12 for rotating the drum filter 10, a pump 31 for sucking an inner peripheral side of the drum filter 10, and a rod body 11 having a polygonal cross section and disposed inside the drum filter 10. Sucking by the pump 31 allows the coolant liquid to pass through a number of the flowing holes 102 and flow into the inner peripheral side from an outer peripheral side of the drum filter 10. The chips 53 clogged in the flowing holes 102 are hammered out by rotating the drum filter 10 and rolling the rod body 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
