<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous material capable of being used suitably in the fields of environment, foodstuff, living body and medical system, and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: A porous material prepared by a reversible transfer catalyst polymerization system using a catalyst for living radical polymerization, and having a three-dimensional network structural backbone and voids is provided. Also, by selecting a polymerization solvent, it is possible to prepare a monolith type porous material even without containing an organic polymer, and the porous material without releasing the organic polymer during cleaning work or use thereof is provided. The reversible transfer catalyst for the living radical polymerization used for the preparation of the monolith type porous material has various advantages such as high activity, low toxicity and high solubility after the reaction, therefore, it is not necessary to form a complex by addition of a ligand. Consequently, high temperature is not required for the polymerization reaction, and an amount of usage of the catalyst can be reduced. Further, the porous material having advantages of being able to remove coloration or attached smell during formation is provided.</p> |
