PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of an R/C helicopter by making its flying behavior more stable, based on a knowledge that the position where the gyroscopic precession occurs is different from what has been applied to conventional R/C helicopters.SOLUTION: A rotor head of a co-axial reversing type R/C helicopter is provided, corresponding to a fact that each main rotor's gyroscopic precession, where the upper and lower main rotors MR perform outputs in response to operation inputs SI from swash plates, occurs within a range smaller than 90 degrees. The rotor head is configured by setting the fitting position of the upper and the lower main rotors with an angle smaller than 90 degrees around main masts 13a and 13b, with regard to each input position for cyclic controls by the upper and lower swash plates to the upper and lower main rotors, and by connecting the upper and lower main rotors with the upper and lower swash plates via a linking mechanism.
|
