<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire improving the lateral rigidity of a tire without increasing the weight of the tire.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire includes: a tread portion 1; a pair of side wall portions 2; a pair of bead portions 3; a carcass 5 made from at least one carcass ply extended in a toroidal shape between bead cores 4 respectively embedded in the bead portions 3; and a belt 6 arranged on an outer peripheral side of a crown area of the carcass 5, and made from two or more of cord crossing belt layers. Within a tire width direction cross section, the maximum width of the crossing layer of the belt 6 is in a range of 0.9-1.1 times of the rim width r of an applied rim R. A curvature radius Cb of the carcass 5 at a point positioned on the outermost side in a radial direction of intersections with the carcass 5 of a radial direction line passing through the maximum width position of the belt crossing layer is in a range of 0.60-0.85 times of a curvature radius Cc of the carcass 5 at the maximum position of tire cross-sectional width.</p> |
