The present invention addresses the problem of easily attaching a hook section of a valve to a head section of a piercing rod, when connecting a new untreated-water container to the water-supply channel of a water server. A through-hole (54) is formed in the head section (51) of the piercing rod (50) nearer the tip thereof than the section thereof which contacts the hook section (27) of the valve (25) is. When the head section (51) is sliding into the inside of the peripheral-wall section (26) of the valve (25), the outside air held in the peripheral-wall section (26) escapes to the interior of the piercing rod (50) through the through-hole (54). |
