<p>The present invention relates to a system and method for reading an encrypted file. The system comprises: a main server, region servers and readers, wherein each region server is communicatively connected to the main server, and is also communicatively connected to more than one reader. The method comprises: a reader sending application information for reading an encrypted file to a region server connected thereto, decrypting the encrypted file using authorization information returned by the region server, and opening the decrypted file obtained by decryption; the region server judging whether or not the received application information comes from a reader authorized thereby, if so, sending the application information to the main server and sending authorization information returned by the main server to the reader, otherwise, not sending the application information to the main server; and the main server judging whether or not the received application information comes from a region server authorized thereby, if so, sending the authorization information to the region server, otherwise, not sending the authorization information to the region server. The present invention can improve the confidentiality of encrypted files.</p> |
