PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner having a configuration obtained by disposing an integrally foamed heat insulating material on an inner face of a drain pan, reducing the number of heat insulating materials and man-hours for attaching the same, and simultaneously preventing bypassing of airflow at a lower end of the indoor heat exchanger.SOLUTION: In an indoor unit 1 of an air conditioner in which an indoor heat exchanger 4 and an indoor fan 5 are disposed in a unit body 2, and a drain pan 6 is disposed at a lower portion of the indoor heat exchanger 4, the drain pan 6 is provided with an integrally foamed heat insulating material 19 at an inner face side, a pedestal 20 for loading a lower end of the indoor heat exchanger 4 is formed at an inner face side of the foamed heat insulating material 19, and a wind shielding wall 21 of a prescribed height covering a front face of a lower end portion of the indoor heat exchanger 4, is vertically disposed at a front face of the pedestal 20. |
