PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical device for performing endoscopic surgical treatment, a device and/or a system, and a method of application.SOLUTION: An electro-mechanical surgical system includes: a hand-held surgical instrument; an end effector; and a shaft assembly arranged to selectively connect the end effector and the surgical instrument to each other. The shaft assembly includes: a linkage; and a wire penetrating the linkage. The wire has a central part disposed in an annular groove defined between the proximal enclosure and the distal enclosure, and the central part of the wire is wound annularly in the annular groove to define a coil. The coil is configured to perform at least one of expansion and contraction in the radial direction according to the rotation of the distal enclosure to the proximal enclosure. |
