PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient rotary electric machine which drastically reduces the action of compression stress and achieves a stacked stator core having low iron loss, and to provide a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine 100 has a stator 110 having a stator core 112 and a stator coil 114 wound around the stator core, and a rotor 120 which is rotatably held at the inner peripheral side of the stator through a gap. The stator core 112 is constituted of a stacked body of a soft magnetic thin plate material which is processed into a predetermined shape, and has a resin layer 112X made from resin which is different from a resin for fixing a winding of the stator coil at the outer peripheral surface parallel to the stacking direction thereof. |
