The present invention provides a network accessing method, a network side device, and a terminal. The method comprises: receiving an access request sent by a terminal, the access request comprising indication information indicating whether the terminal needs to perform data transmission; according to the access request, determining whether to allocate a resource for data transmission to the terminal. According to the network accessing method, the network side device, and the terminal of the present invention, the indication message for indicating whether the terminal needs to perform data transmission is added to the access request sent by the terminal, so that the network side device knows in advance whether to allocate the corresponding resource for data transmission to the terminal, and it does not need to allocate a resource to a terminal not performing data transmission, thereby avoiding wasting resources, and ensuring operation of normal services. |
