<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which gate lines are stably driven.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device comprises: a first substrate comprising a pixel thin-film transistor formed thereon; a second substrate opposing the first substrate; and a liquid crystal layer located between the first substrate and the second substrate. In the liquid crystal display device, the first substrate comprises: a first insulation substrate having a display region where the pixel thin-film transistor is formed and a non-display region that encloses the display region; gate lines formed in the display region and electrically connected to the pixel thin-film transistor; a driving part having a driving thin-film transistor, located in the non-display region and driving the pixel thin-film transistor; and a dummy semiconductor layer formed in a peripheral region of the driving part on the first insulating substrate.</p> |
