The present invention is provided with: an inverter unit (5) including switching elements (51, 52) for outputting a U-phase voltage and switching elements (53, 54) for outputting a W-phase voltage; midpoint capacitors (31, 32); a voltage detector (4) for detecting the state of midpoint potential at the point of connection between the midpoint capacitor (31) and the midpoint capacitor (32) in O-phase; an AC voltage detector (8); a midpoint stabilizer (2) for adjusting the amount of power stored in the midpoint capacitor (31) and the midpoint capacitor (32); and a controller (7) for controlling the switching elements (51, 52, 53, 54) so as to feed the desired U-phase voltage and W-phase voltage on the basis of the voltage detected by the AC voltage detector (8) and controlling the midpoint stabilizer (2) so as to adjust the midpoint potential of the O-phase on the basis of the state of the midpoint potential detected by the voltage detector (4). |
