<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal rotation type lower limb training machine that can be smoothly rotated while reducing danger of human injury by eliminating accidents due to inter-pedal contact by making pedal direction invariable.SOLUTION: The lower limb training machine includes a pair of rotary disks that have pedals made rotatable on a base board and an interlocking device that simultaneously rotate the pair of rotary disks. With the locus of the movement of the pair of rotary disks made point symmetry, for the purpose of preventing contact between the pedals, one of the gears with an axle having the same tooth number is fixed on both rotary axes on the base board mounted with the pair of rotary disks, and the gears themselves are also fixed. A gear with an axle which rotates by simultaneously meshing with the two gears is fixed in the axis inside both rotary disks, and then the other of the gears with an axle is fixed in the axis outside both rotary disks. By fixing the pedals respectively on the upper face of both gears, the direction of both pedals becomes invariable even when the pair of rotary disks having pedals are rotated and the position of the pedals is varied.</p> |
