The heater has a combustion chamber (1), a combustion grate (2) and an ash container (6) i.e. bag, that is connected with an area (3) below the combustion grate over an ash exhaust opening (4). An ash lock (5) is formed as a passage to the container in an area below the exhaust opening. The ask lock has a cell wheel with three chambers, where the wheel is guided in a housing. The passage is formed as a coupling (10) between the housing and the container, where one of the chambers is connected with the exhaust opening. The container is coupled with a level indicator i.e. digital balance (11).
