The present invention relates to an anti-skid brake device for an electric vehicle and a method thereof and, more specifically, to an anti-skid brake device and a method thereof, capable of preventing an electric vehicle from skidding on a slope even though an electronic parking brake is mounted in the car to restrain a drive shaft from being rotated while the car is being stopped. The present invention forcibly stops an electric vehicle when the electric vehicle skids on a slope due to malfunction of the car or the mistake of a driver or a mechanic, and informs the driver of that situation. Therefore, the possibility of accidents can be reduced.
