<p>Agent comprises (a) at least one substituted imidazolium alkyl sulfate compound (I), (b) 1H-4(5)-methylbenzotriazole, (c) 2-prop-2-ynyloxy-ethanol, (d) poly[2-(methacryloyloxy)ethyl]trimethylammonium-bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide, (e) aspartic acid, (f) 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium diethyl phosphate and (g) 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium trifluoromethanesulfonate. Agent comprises (a) at least one substituted imidazolium alkyl sulfate compound of formula (I), (b) 1H-4(5)-methylbenzotriazole, (c) 2-prop-2-ynyloxy-ethanol, (d) poly[2-(methacryloyloxy)ethyl]trimethylammonium-bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide, (e) aspartic acid, (f) 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium diethyl phosphate and (g) 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium trifluoromethanesulfonate. R : 1-12C alkyl; either R1, R4 : H, 1-20C alkyl or 2-20C alkenyl (containing at least one double bond) (all preferred), 2-20C alkynyl (containing at least one triple bond), 3-7C cycloalkyl (optionally mono- or polysubstituted by 1-6C alkyl), phenyl (optionally mono- or polysubstituted by alkyl), heteroaryl, heteroaryl-1-6C alkyl or aryl-1-6C alkyl, where R1 and R4 do not simultaneously represent H; and R2, R3, R5 : H, 1-20C alkyl, 2-20C alkenyl (containing at least one double bond), 2-20C alkynyl (containing at least one triple bond), 3-7C cycloalkyl (optionally mono- or polysubstituted by 1-6C alkyl), phenyl (optionally mono- or polysubstituted by alkyl), heteroaryl, heteroaryl-1-6C alkyl, aryl-1-6C alkyl, F, Cl, Br, I, CN, OR11, N(R11) 2, P(O)(R11) 2, P(O)(OR11) 2, P(O)(N(R11) 2) 2, C(O)R11, C(O)OR11, C(O)X, C(O)N(R11) 2, SO 2N(R11) 2, SO 2OH, SO 2X, SR11, S(O)R11, SO 2R11 or NO 2; or R11+R12+R13+R14+R15 : ring; R11 : H, 1-8C alkyl (non-fluorinated, partially fluorinated or perfluorinated and optionally branched), saturated 3-7C cycloalkyl or optionally substituted phenyl; and X : F, Cl or Br.
