Disclosed are a method for providing augmented reality, a user terminal and an access point using the same. The user terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a receiving unit which receives augmented reality related information broadcasted by at least one access point; a photographing unit which obtains an image of an object by photographing the object; and a comparison unit which designates the object by comparing the image of the object obtained by a photographing process with the augmented reality related information received from at least one access point, thereby providing an augmented reality service.
