A transparent display panel comprises: a first substrate; a plurality of gate line sets consisting of two gate lines; a plurality of data line sets consisting of two data lines; at least two pixel electrodes located within a pixel unit area defined by the gate line set and the data line set; a plurality of switching elements electrically connected to the gate line, the data line, and the pixel electrode; a black matrix formed on the plurality of gate line sets and the plurality of data line sets; a second substrate facing the first substrate; and a liquid crystal layer inserted between the first substrate and the second substrate. Therefore, a high quality image can be displayed by reducing diffraction.
