A method of burning fuel with using a solid fuel vortex burner consists in that the fuel is fed by the screw conveyor through the fuel channel, located above the fire-grate, through the openings of which the primary air is flown. The secondary air passes through the casing of the cylindrical part of the burner and is fed into the combustion chamber by the specially designed nozzles of the Laval nozzle type, which ensuring the flow swirling and the increase of the air pressure. They provide the supplying of the air along the inner walls of the burner and directly into the combustion zone. The afterburning of the light fuel fraction is performed by supplying of the secondary air at the inlet of the nozzle of the burner tangentially to the gas flow, which contributes to the additional swirling of the gas flow. The total volume of air in the combustion chamber is supplied in an amount that the ratio of excess air is less than 1. The complete afterburning of the gas-generator gases is performed into the furnace of boiler, when receiving the additional air, sucked into the furnace of boiler through the casing of burner’s nozzle by the draft of smoke exhauster. The total volume of air in the boiler furnace excess air coefficient is more than 1. The ash from below of the fire-grate is removed through the hatch, located at the front flange of the burner. The ash is removed manually from the ash collection pocket. |
