PURPOSE: An apparatus and a system for providing power wirelessly using a utility power source are provided to be manufactured with a low cost by using a utility power source, prevent overly high current by including a current detector and a controller, and to be capable of determining whether a magnetic device is a target device to be charged when the magnetic device approaches for reducing unnecessary power consumption. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus (100) for providing power wirelessly using a utility power source comprises a power feeding core (110) providing a pathway of a magnetic flux; a power feeding cable (120) wound around the power feeding core and generating the magnetic flux by current flowing from the utility power source; and a power control module (130) detecting a change of the current according a contact or separation of a target device to be charged, and determining information of the detected current for controlling the quantity of the current flowing in the power feeding cable. The power control module includes a relay switch (132), a controller (134), and a current detector (136).
