The method involves measuring relative data with a position and movement of a vehicle (20) on a followed route. An intersection with another road is identified. A direct connection to a cellphone embedded in another vehicle (10) on another route is established while approaching the intersection. The data related to the position and the movement of the latter vehicle is collected if the direct connection is established. Collision between the vehicles is calculated based on the collected data. A driver is warned when the collision is identified. The direct connection is established according to a Wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) protocol. An independent claim is also included for a program comprising a set of instructions to prevent collision risks of a vehicle.
