The invention relates to the field of scintillation techniques. A scintillation single crystal on the basis of zinc tungstate is additionally doped with magnesium and forms a substitutional solid solution ZnMgWOwhere 0.05≤x≤0.95, and x – a part of impurity ions of magnesium in the cation sublattice. The invention provides an expansion of the range of scintillation crystals, suitable for the application in scintillation detectors, including cryogenic, for detection rare events with high parameters. |
