摘要 Provided is a laser module (1) that includes a plurality of laser elements (21), and an optical fiber (10). The optical fiber (10) includes a core (15) to which light emitted from the laser elements (21) is incident. An incidence surface of the core (15) to which light is incident has a plurality of flat surfaces (15a to 15c) that are non-parallel to one another and to which light emitted from at least one of the laser elements (21) is incident. Light that is incident to the core (15) via the surfaces (15b,15c) that are tilted with respect to the axis line (CA) of the optical fiber (10), among the surfaces (15a to 15c), propagates from a region enclosed by the tilted surfaces (15b, 15c) and a line that passes points of incidence of light that is incident to the tilted surfaces (15b, 15c) and is parallel to the axis line (CA), the tilted surfaces and the line forming acute angles, as viewed in a cross section along the lengthwise direction of the optical fiber (10).
