An air conditioner (1): is provided with a compressor (21), an outdoor heat exchanger (23), indoor heat exchangers (42a, 42b), and a refrigerant circuit (10) having a stored-heat heat exchanger (28) that exchanges heat between a refrigerant and a thermal storage material; and is capable of performing a heat storage operation during a heating operation, and performing a stored-heat utilization operation during a defrosting operation. The refrigerant circuit (10) additionally has a heat storage expansion valve (29) for varying the flow rate of refrigerant flowing through the stored-heat heat exchanger (28). Moreover, in the air conditioner (1), for the heat storage operation, control is performed in such a manner that the position of the heat storage expansion valve (29) adjusts to a heat storage operation set position determined by a function based on the condensation pressure of the refrigerant, the liquid pipe pressure in an outlet of the heat storage expansion valve (29), and the enthalpy of the refrigerant in an inlet and the outlet of the stored-heat heat exchanger (28). |
