A mounting assembly (28) for a vehicle (2) comprising a vehicle body (4) and roller assemblies (6, 14) for applying pressure to the ground is disclosed. The mounting assembly comprises a first member (38) connected to a roller assembly and a second member (44) connected to the vehicle body. A key plate (50) transfers torque from the first member to the second member and allows translation of the first member relative to the second member in a direction transverse to the torque axis. A shear pin (56) prevents translation of the first member relative to the second member when a load applied to the roller assembly is insufficient to cause failure of the shear pin, and allows translation of the first member relative to the second member when the load is sufficient to cause failure of the shear pin.
