<p>This state monitoring device (100) is mounted in a vehicle (1) and monitors the state of a driver using a facial image (51) of the driver. The state monitoring device acquires a first face image (51) captured by receiving incoming light coming in from the stipulated region, and a second face image (52) captured by receiving attenuated light resulting from the light from the red region of the incoming light having been attenuated.
