PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect an AC motor further properly.SOLUTION: On the basis of voltage commands vd* and Vq* of a d-axis and a q-axis, temporary voltage commands Vutmp, Vvtmp, and Vwtmp of U-phase, V-phase, and W-phase are set (S160). When a modulation rate Rm is less than a predetermined value Rref, a tertiary harmonic component is superimposed on the temporary commands Vutmp, Vvtmp, and Vwtmp to set voltage commands Vu*, Vv*, and Vw (S180). When the modulation rate Rm is equal to or more than the predetermined value Rref, the temporary voltage commands Vutmp, Vvtmp, and Vwtmp of the U-phase, V-phase, and W-phase are set to the voltage commands Vu*, Vv*, and Vw* (S190). An inverter is controlled by PWM control using the set voltage commands Vu*, Vv*, and Vw* (S200 and S210). |
