PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle type vehicle capable of producing as adequate deceleration as desired by a rider during automatic control of a transmission gear ratio.SOLUTION: An accelerator grip 24 is rotatable from a neutral position in a positive or negative direction. A control device controls a transmission so that the transmission gear ratio of the transmission is a transmission gear ratio to be obtained on the basis of the rotation quantity of the accelerator grip 24. The control device changes the transmission gear ratio of the transmission to be lower resulting from the rotation of the accelerator grip 24 from the neutral position in the negative direction. |
